Dublin Ireland, home of Guinness beer and Irish whiskey. Today we visited several sites in Dublin including the Old Jameson Whiskey Distillery, the Spire, Dublin Castle and Christ Church Cathedral We walked over Ha’penny Bridge which is famously known as the first pedestrian bridge to span over the river Liffey. Its name was derived from the price pedestrians had to pay (a “halfpenny”) to cross the bridge back when it was built in 1816.
