Today the weather did not look so good, so we took the Hop On Hop Off bus tour around the city. We stopped at the Tyrol Panorama which is a 360 degree painting showing the Tyrolean fight for freedom which was created in 1896. We also climbed the 148 steps to the top of the City Tower and enjoyed great views of the city. Our next stop was the Court Church which is where the tomb of Emperor Maximilian I is located. It is actually empty as he is buried in Wiener Neustadt, Austria. There are 28 life-sized bronze figures guarding the tomb (eight of them are women). You will find ancestors, relatives, and heroes among them, such as King Arthur, King Ferdinand II of Aragon, and Elizabeth of Luxembourg. The church itself is beautiful, too, with rich decor and details.
