Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania

We spent a few days in the old neighborhood. It was great to be back in the Poconos. Not much has changed during the last 6 years. We took a drive to Jim Thorpe which is one of our favorite towns in the area. We spent part of the afternoon admiring the old beautiful buildings, took a walk on the rail trail and visited the Jim Thorpe monument. We learned that on July 15, 2022 the Olympic committee finally reinstated Jim Thorpe as the sole gold medal winner for the Pentathlon and decathlon for the 1912 Olympics.
