We spent a few days in Big Bear. Today we took a very nice hike on the Cougar Crest Trail. We hiked for about 2.5 miles to the top of the mountain where the trail meets the Pacific Crest Trail. We had great views of Big Bear Lake and the surrounding mountains. This week a town favorite, Jackie-the bald eagle, passed away. We heard that the town was in mourning as Jackie has millions of followers.
