Antwerp, Belgium

Our first night was spent at the Hilton located in the town square. It was a beautiful hotel and a great location. Antwerp was very busy as it was a National Holiday in Belgium. We strolled around the city and visited a few of the sites. We walked over to the Het Steen which is an old castle that dates back to the early 13th century. We also visited The Cathedral of Our Lady which took 169 years to build and was completed in 1521. The Cathedral features many of the paintings by Peter Paul Rubens.

Another site is the Central Station which has been rated as one of the top five most beautiful train stations in the world.
