It has been quite a few years since our last visit to Bonito Lake, where we spent a wonderful afternoon hiking through the surrounding forest. Ruidoso has always been one of our favorite New Mexico destinations, and it served as the perfect stop during our trip. On the way back, we couldn’t resist buying a carved wooden bear—he’s a fantastic addition and just so cute!
