We took the Bridle Path trail to the top of Mt. Cavendish which is where the Christchurch Gondola is located. It was quite a hike to the top, but the panoramic views of the area including Christchurch and the Lyttelton Harbor were nice. We followed the Crater Rim walkway and ended our hike in Lyttelton.
