Catedral-Basílica de Santa María de Mallorca, Palma, Majorca

The Catedral-Basílica de Santa María de Mallorca, popularly known as La Seu, dates back to the 1300’s. La Seu is world-famous for its incredible luminosity, featuring 61 stained glass windows, 7 rose windows and 16 side chapels.  The massive project spanned nearly four centuries, with the main facade finally being completed in the early 17th century. There have also been more recent updates by Antoni Gaudi in the early 1900’s and Miguel Barcelo in the early 2000’s.
