Columbia River Gorge Natural Scenic Area, OR

We started our day with a walk on the Salem waterfront. It was a nice morning and I wanted to see the big globe. (It definitely needs some repairs.) We then enjoyed a drive through the Columbia River Gorge Natural Scenic Area and stopped at various viewpoints along the way. We saw a few of the waterfalls and took a few short hikes. At the end of our tour, we found a Voodoo donut store. We have tried to go to one in the past, but they have always been too busy, with long lines out the door. So, today we had our first Voodoo donuts and they were very sweet.
