We have spent a few days in Geneva. Lake Geneva is beautiful with crystal clear water with an amazing green and blue color. The Jet d’ Eau is a massive fountain that shoots water 140 meters into the air. The surrounding Alps make for a beautiful setting.

Geneva is considered the “Capital of Peace” and an International Hub. It is home to the European headquarters of the United Nations (Palais des Nations), the International Committee of the Red Cross, and numerous other international organizations. It’s a global center for diplomacy and humanitarian efforts.

With all of that said, I expected more. As for tourists, there is just not that much to see. It is also extremely expensive. It is not a city that I would return to.
