Gibraltar
We took a day trip to Gibraltar. We visited the Caves of San Miguel which were really beautiful. They also use this as a music venue for concerts. We also went into the “losTúneles del Gran Asedio” which translates to “tunnels of the great siege”. The tunnels were excavated in the 18th century by English Soldiers who were at battle with Spanish troops. And of course, we got to see all of the monkeys that run wild on the Rock of Gibraltar. Great views from atop the Rock! To get into or leave Gibraltar you have to cross a commercial runway. If a plane is landing or departing, they have stop lights to stop the traffic. That is kind of different. It was an awesome day!
