Goldfield, CO

Goldfield was once a bustling mining town with more than 3,500 residents. Today it is a semi-ghost town with few residents. We took walk on the  Vindicator Valley Trail, an interpretive hiking loop that passes close-up views of preserved mine headframes, shafts, and historic ruins from Goldfield’s mining heyday.
