Kuranda Rainforest

We took the train to the village of Kuranda. We walked through the rainforest and then visited the town where there are many shops and restaurants. We really enjoyed the Bird and Butterfly Sanctuary. We visited the wildlife area and saw crocodiles, kangaroos, wallabies and Koala bears. We returned to Cairns on the gondola. Both the train and the gondola provided great views of the rainforest, Cairns coastline and the surrounding areas.
