It was interesting to see the vast maze of corridors and tunnels that lie beneath the Cabbage Market in Brno. They used the underground for storing food, wine and beer. They had different ways to light the space which evolved over time. There was an alchemist’s laboratory and even a tavern. They also revealed different methods of punishment for those who committed some crime. They were quite brutal back then.
