We took the drive to Lamington National Park and what an experience that was. The last 10 miles of the drive are quite dreadful. It is a very narrow mountain road with several sections of one lane road. There are signs for sharp curves, blind curves and give way. The speed limit is mostly 10 km per hour so it is a slow go. I was so thankful that there were not many cars to meet and share the road with.

We drove to O’Reilly’s Retreat and took the border track  to Elabana Falls. At the falls Toby decided he needed to cross some large rocks across the falls for a photo. He fell and it scared the hell out of me. He was fine except for a few scrapes.

We also took the Tree Top Walk which consists of  9 suspension bridges up to  52 feet above ground.  We had quite a  view of  the forest.
