We spent the day exploring Lausanne. The waterfront area called Port d’Ouchy is lovely with the clear waters of Lake Geneva surrounded by the Swiss Alps and the Savoyan Alps. We also visited the grounds of the Olympic Museum and enjoyed the green space with many statues. There are a lot of beautiful buildings and nice parks in Lausanne. It is a very hilly city with many steep stairways and steep walking paths. The Lausanne Cathedral sits high atop a hill and is quite lovely.

We have great views of Lake Geneva and the surrounding mountains from our apartment!
