Monte Igueldo Funicular, San Sebastian, Spain

We took the rickety, old funicular to the top of Monte Igueldo and enjoyed the wonderful views of San Sebastian.  We attempted to go in the morning, but the lines were too long so we waited until later in the day. It has been in service since 1912 so I was glad to have fellow travelers to visit with on the way up and down the mountain. At the top, we explored and found the Camino de Santiago trail and took a very short hike since we were short on time. We certainly did not want to miss the funicular ride down!
