Newcastle Upon Tyne, England

Today we visited several sites in Newcastle Upon Tyne, including two churches, St. Marys Cathedral which was built in the 1800’s and the Cathedral Church of St. Nicholas which was founded in 1091. We also took a stroll through Grainger town and saw many of the beautiful buildings as well as the Central Arcade and the Theatre Royal. We strolled past the Newcastle Castle which was built around 900 years ago. We also walked along the River Tyne and saw the two famous bridges, the Tyne bridge and the Millennium bridge.
