Today we had a boat tour of the Oslo Fjord scheduled. We stopped by the Opera House where you can walk the steep ramp up to the rooftop and see nice views of Oslo and the surrounding countryside. The cruise was nice as we were able to see more of the islands surrounding Oslo. There are many islands that don’t have much on them, some with many small homes and others with more modern condos sitting atop the hillside. During our trip we have noticed that the people of Norway enjoy laying in the sun. There is not much swimming as the water is a cold 54 degrees, but they are certainly enjoying the warm weather. Our afternoon ended with a short visit to the Oslo Cathedral.
