We bought a ticket to visit Palatine Hill, The Forum and the Colosseum. We were only able to climb Palatine Hill and see the Forum on the first day. There was more to see than we thought. The ruins are amazing and old, dating back to 1000 BC. It is said that in 753 BC the city’s founder, Romulus chose Palatine Hill as the city centre and built the city around it.
