The Grand Palace, Bangkok Thailand

The palace has been the official residence of the Kings of Siam (and later Thailand) since 1782. The king, his court, and his royal government were based on the grounds of the palace until 1925. Several royal ceremonies and state functions are held within the walls of the palace every year.

The Palace and all of the buildings within the complex are stunning.  There is something pretty around every corner. The statues, grounds and artwork are very beautiful. We enjoyed seeing the miniature model of Angkor Wat as we had just visited the site when we were in Cambodia.
