Today we took one of the recommended walking tours from Trastevere to Gianicolo (Janiculum Hill). Trastevere is a picturesque medieval neighborhood located on the West bank of the Tiber river. There were several stops along the way, such as a few churches (very lovely), a botanical garden (not that lovely) finished by a walk up Janiculum Hill. Janiculum Hill is the highest hill in Rome so we had great views of the city. We could see snow on the top of the distant mountains
