Well, I think Venice is very overrated. It is my least favorite city that we have visited on this trip. It is very busy, the buildings are all very old looking and need a lot of maintenance. Yesterday we spent a few hours walking around and did not really see anything that was very impressive. Today we walked to St. Mark’s Square where St. Mark’s Basilica and Doges Palace are located. The Basilica is undergoing repairs so it is difficult to get a nice photo. It is very expensive to stay in Venice and the hotels are very, very old. I can’t imagine what they look like on the inside. All in all, Venice is a very disappointing city.
