These are a few of the photos that we took as we explored Verona. We made our way to the top of the Lamberti Tower where we had great views of the city. We also took the funicular to the top of Pietro Hill where we had views of the city from the other side of the river.

A popular thing in Verona is the Romeo and Juliet story. Juliet’s house is world famous as the setting of Shakespeare’s play ‘Romeo and Juliet’. The famous balcony and Juliet’s statue are located in the home’s courtyard. It was extremely busy with people waiting for photo ops with Juliet’s statue.
