Hop on Hop off bus tour (Day 1), Copenhagen, Denmark

Today was a much better day as we solved the transportation problem with a bus tour.  Our first stop was at Nyhavn which are the brightly colored 17th and early 18th century townhouses, bars, cafes and restaurants that line the canal. This is the typical picture when I think of Copenhagen. Our next stop was at the Marble Church which is the first round church that I have visited. Behind the church is the Amalienborg Palace which is the official residence for the Danish royal family. We also visited the Gefion Fountain and the Little Mermaid statue at the harbor. Our last stop was at the Rosenborg Castle. The Castle and gardens are quite lovely.
